Citizens' AcademyGet an inside look at the Edina Police Department through Citizens' Academy! Join us for this 11-week program, which will give you an informative and interactive look behind the scenes of a the Edina Police Department. Through lectures, demonstrations and hands-on learning, you'll discover the "real" world of law enforcement and how we carry out our mission "To Protect and Serve" on a daily basis. And much more! Upon completion of the program you'll receive an Academy polo shirt, a certificate from Edina Police Chief Long and local recognition as a graduate. The 2012 Academy begins Tuesday, March 13 and will run through May 22. The class meets from 6 to 9 p.m. every Tuesday for 11-weeks.
