MEDIC 395
Medic 395 is staffed by two Firefighter/Paramedics who go through
over 1200 hours of certification to become certified as a Paramedic. |

TOWER 90
Tower 90 was delivered in June 2001. It is a Pierce 100 ft. Aerial
Platform built on a Dash Chassis. For rescue, the platform has room for
up to four firefighters and is rated at 1000 lbs. For firefighting the
platform has a pre-plumed waterway that can deliver 2000 gallons per
minute and is supplied by the MID-SHIP mounted Waterous 2000 GPM Fire
Pump. Tower 90 can seat up to four firefighters, carries 300 gallons of
water and is 47 feet long. |

RESCUE 91
In 2005, Custom Fire Apparatus created Edina Rescue 91, a Heavy
Rescue truck built with a Freightliner Chassis. Rescue 91 carries
several pieces of specialized rescue equipment used by Edina Fire
Department's Special Operations Team (SOT). SOT consists of
highly-trained fire department personnel who respond and mitigate
specialized rescue events such as Structural Collapse Rescue, High/Low
Level Rope Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Trench/Excavation Rescue,
Swift/Surface-water Rescue and Elevator Rescue. Edina SOT members are
also members of the Minnesota State Task Force 1 Team that responds
statewide to emergency rescue situations.

ENGINE 81
Engine 81 is a 1998 Pierce Quantum Pumper. It has a 1500 gallon per minute
single stage pump and a 750 gallon Poly Water Tank. Engine 81 has Class 1 Foam
capabilities using the husky Foam system and carries various pieces of equipment
such as Hydraulic Rescue tools, air bags, water rescue and advanced life support
medical equipment, in addition to firefighting equipment. Engine 81 has 10,000
watt hydraulic generator and can seat six firefighters.

ENGINE 83
Engine 83 is a 2005 Custom Fire "Full Response Pumper" with a Freightliner
chassis. It features a Waterous 1,500 gallon per minute pump and a 750 gallon
Poly Water Tank. Engine 83 has Class A Foam capabilities, using a pre-plumbed
foam system supplied by a 30-gallon foam tank. In addition to firefighting
equipment, Engine 83 carries hydraulic rescue tools, air bags, water and rope
rescue equipment and advanced life support medical equipment. Engine 83's pump
operator controls the pump from the interior cap, top-mounted pump panel. The
engine seats five firefighters. |
